Fitch affirms European Investment Bank

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed the European Investment Bank's long-term issuer default rating at AAA with a stable outlook and affirmed its short-term issuer default rating at F1+.

Fitch said the affirmation reflects the strong support the bank derives from European Union member countries, its low exposure to risk and strong capitalization.
