New Issue: EIB sells $1.5 billion 0.75% notes due 2030 at mid-swaps plus 16 bps

Tupelo, Miss., Sept. 15 – The European Investment Bank (Aaa/AAA/AAA) priced $1.5 billion of 0.75% 10-year global notes on Tuesday at mid-swaps plus 16 basis points, or Treasuries plus 16.95 bps, according to a market source.
Initial price talk was in the mid-swaps plus 17 bps area.
Barclays, BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Citigroup Global Markets Ltd. and RBC Capital Markets, LLC were the bookrunners.
The lender for the European Union is based in Kirchberg, Luxembourg.
