New Issue: EADS prices $1 billion 2.7% 10-year notes to yield Treasuries plus 98 bps

New York, April 9 - The European Aeronautic Defense and Space Co. NV priced $1 billion of 2.7% 10-year notes (A2/A-/) on Tuesday to yield Treasuries plus 98 basis points, an informed source said.

The size was talked in the $750 million to $1 billion range. Initial price guidance was in the 105 bps to 110 bps over Treasuries range.

Pricing was at 99.748 to yield 2.729%.

The sale was done under Rule 144A and Regulation S.

Barclays, Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC were the bookrunners.

The aircraft manufacturer is based in Leiden, the Netherlands.
