Fitch revises Ethias outlook to stable

Fitch Ratings said it revised Ethias SA's outlook to stable from positive while affirming its long-term issuer default rating at A-.

“The outlook revision reflects Fitch's view that the combination of high inflation, subdued premium growth in Belgium and higher risk retention will weigh on Ethias's non-life earnings in 2023. As a result, we view an upgrade as unlikely over the next 12-24 months,” the agency said in a press release.
