Espirito Santo buys back €124.84 million 4.75% convertibles, all €110 million 3.47% convertibles

New York, Oct. 27 - Espirito Santo Financial Group SA said it bought back €124.837 million or 62.4% of its 4.75% convertible bonds due 2006 and all €110 million of its 3.47% convertible bonds due 2007.

The buyback leaves €75.163 million of the 4.75% convertibles outstanding.

Lehman Brothers was intermediary for the repurchase.

Espirito Santo is a Portugal based financial services company.
