New Issue: South Africa’s Eskom prices ZAR 300 million tap of floating-rate notes

Olympia, Wash., April 25 – Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd. priced a ZAR 300 million tap of its floating-rate notes due April 20, 2021, according to a notice.

The additional notes bring the issue size up to ZAR 500 million.

The notes have a coupon of Jibar plus a spread of 150 basis points, for an initial 8.4% coupon rate as of April 20. Interest is payable quarterly.

The bonds will be listed on JSE Ltd.

Eskom Holdings is an electricity provider based in Johannesburg.
