Escada (USA) official unsecured creditors committee loses two members

Pittsburgh, Sept. 21 - Escada (USA) Inc.'s official committee of unsecured creditors has been reappointed by Region 2 U.S. trustee Diana G. Adams to remove two members, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The two members removed from the committee were Michael Kellog of Century Direct LLC and Jon Demko of Specialty Transport Solutions International, Inc.

The remaining committee members are William Schrag of Duane Morris, representing Bayerische Hypo-und Veriensbank of New York; Stephanie Wickouski of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, representing Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co. of New York; and Edward Sassower of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, representing Basil David Postan of New York.

Escada (USA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Escada AG, an Aschheim/ Munchen, Germany, designer and marketer of upscale women's apparel. The subsidiary filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 14. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-15008.
