Erie County, N.Y., defeases series 2007 and 2008 Buffalo school bonds

Columbus, Ohio, June 24 – The Erie County Industrial Development Agency of New York has defeased $247.58 million of City School District of the City of Buffalo Project facility revenue bonds, series 2007 and 2008, according to two notices.

The following 5.75% bonds dated Aug. 23, 2007 will be redeemed May 1, 2017 at par plus accrued interest:

• $7.53 million of bonds due 2018;

• $7,975,000 of bonds due 2019;

• $8,445,000 of bonds due 2020;

• $8,945,000 of bonds due 2021;

• $9,475,000 of bonds due 2022;

• $10,035,000 of bonds due 2023;

• $10.63 million of bonds due 2024;

• $11.26 million of bonds due 2025; and

• $11,125,000 of bonds due 2026.

The following 5.75% bonds dated Feb. 28, 2008 will be redeemed May 1, 2018 at par plus accrued interest:

• $7,315,000 of bonds due 2019;

• $7.75 million of bonds due 2020;

• $8,205,000 of bonds due 2021;

• $8,695,000 of bonds due 2022;

• $9.21 million of bonds due 2023;

• $9,755,000 of bonds due 2024;

• $10.33 million of bonds due 2025;

• $10.94 million of bonds due 2026;

• $11.59 million of bonds due 2027;

• $12,275,000 of bonds due 2028; and

• $24,085,000 of bonds due 2029.

All bonds have a due date of May 1 of their respective years.
