Equity Media Holdings seeks conversion or dismissal of Chapter 11 case

Charlotte, N.C., April 9 - Equity Media Holdings Corp.'s U.S. Trustee Nancy J. Gargula asked the court to convert the company's Chapter 11 bankruptcy case to Chapter 7 or dismiss the Chapter 11 case, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas.

The filing included a list of the parent case and each subsidiary case for which required monthly operating reports are delinquent.

Equity Media, based in Little Rock, Ark., owns and operates television stations. The company filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 8, 2008, and its Chapter 11 case number is 08-17646.
