EQT to price senior notes due 2034 via four bookrunners

Lexington, Ky., Jan. 17 – EQT Corp. is in the market with an offering of senior notes due 2034 (//BBB-), according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes feature a make-whole call until three months prior to maturity when they transition to a par call. Accrued interest will also be paid.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, MUFG Securities Americas Inc., TD Securities (USA) LLC and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC are acting as joint bookrunners.

Bank of New York Mellon is the trustee.

Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP are acting as legal counsel for EQT, while Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP will represent the underwriters.

Proceeds will be used to repay a portion of the borrowings under the company’s term loan credit agreement.

Pittsburgh-based EQT is an independent natural gas production company with operations focused in the cores of the Marcellus and Utica Shales in the Appalachian Basin.
