Epistar cuts conversion price of third issue euro convertible bonds

By Marisa Wong

Madison, Wis., July 3 - Epistar Corp. said it will lower the conversion price of its third issue euro convertible bonds to NT$122.38 from NT$123.64, effective July 25.

The updated conversion price is related to an adjustment to the cash distribution rate of capital surplus, according to a Taiwan Stock Exchange announcement.

Epistar is an LED chipmaker based in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
