Epistar cuts conversion prices of third issue domestic, overseas bonds

By Marisa Wong

Madison, Wis., June 29 - Epistar Corp. said it will adjust the conversion prices of its third issue of domestic convertible bonds and third issue of overseas convertible bonds.

The conversion price of the domestic bonds will be lowered to NT$95.58 from NT$100.74, effective July 20, and the price of the overseas bonds will be lowered to NT$125.81 from NT$132.60, also effective July 20.

The price adjustments are due to an increase in outstanding Epistar shares, which resulted from the exercise of an employee stock option.

Epistar is an LED chipmaker based in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
