EP Energy announces members of post-effective date board of directors

Pittsburgh, March 6 – EP Energy Corp. announced the members of the new board of directors that will be appointed for the reorganized company following the effective date of EP Energy’s Chapter 11 plan, according to an 8-K filed Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The board will be comprised of EP Energy president and chief executive officer Russell E. Parker, Elliott Management Corp. senior portfolio manager John Pike, Elliott Management analyst Win Rollins, Elliott Management analyst Ross Green, Apollo Global Management partner Wilson Handler, Apollo Global Management partner Olivia Wassenaar and Apollo Global management principal Rajesh Jegadeesh.

An eighth member of the board will be designated by Apollo Global Management.

The plan supplement also included a revised schedule of contracts to be rejected and a revised version of a claims oversight monitor agreement.

The oil and natural gas exploration and production company is based in Houston. The company filed bankruptcy on Oct. 3 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas under Chapter 11 case number 19-35654.
