DBRS confirms Epcor

DBRS said it confirmed the A senior unsecured debentures and the R-1 commercial paper ratings of Epcor Utilities Inc. and removed ratings from review with developing implications, where they were placed May 8.

The trend is stable.

DBRS said the action reflects acquisition by Capital Power LP of all power generating assets and related operations, which is not expected to affect ratings.
