New Issue: EOG Resources sells $900 million 5.625% 10-year notes at Treasuries plus 245 bps

New York, May 18 - EOG Resources, Inc. priced $900 million of 5.625% 10-year senior notes Monday to yield Treasuries plus 245 basis points, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes (A3/A-/) priced at 99.816 to yield 5.649% with a make-whole call at Treasuries plus 37.5 bps.
Bookrunners were Barclays Capital Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc.
Co-managers were Banc of America Securities LLC, BBVA Securities, BMO Capital Markets, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Comerica Securities, Fortis Securities, Goldman Sachs & Co., Mitsubishi UFJ Securities, Morgan Stanley & Co., RBC Capital Markets, Scotia Capital, SG Americas Securities, UBS Securities and Wachovia Capital Markets.
Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including repayment of commercial paper.
The independent oil and gas company is based in Houston.
