Enterprise files $45 million shelf covering stock, debt, preferreds

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 16 - Enterprise Financial Services Corp. filed a $45 million shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers preferred stock, common stock, depositary shares, debt securities, rights to purchase common stock, purchase contracts, warrants and units.

The securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used for capital expenditures, debt repayment or refinancing, working capital, acquisitions and general corporate purposes.

St. Louis-based Enterprise is a financial holding company.
