Entergy New Orleans unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, Oct. 21 - Entergy New Orleans, Inc.'s U.S. Trustee appointed the official committee of unsecured creditors for its Chapter 11 case, according to a Friday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

The committee is comprised of Roxanne Armstrong of Apache Corp., Houston; Brian Jeffries of Western Gas Resources, Inc., Denver; and Robert Helm of Magnus Entergy Marketing, Inc., Corpus Christy, Texas.

Entergy New Orleans provides electric and natural gas service to customers in New Orleans and is the smallest of Entergy Corp.'s five utility companies. It filed for Chapter 11 on Sept. 23. Its case number is 05-17697.
