Entergy Arkansas to price add-on of 4% first mortgage bonds due 2028

Knoxville, Tenn., March 13 – Entergy Arkansas Inc. is eyeing an additional sale of its 4% first mortgage bonds due June 1, 2028, according to a 424B3 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company sold $250 million of the notes in a sale that priced on May 8, 2018 and settled on May 11, 2018 at 99.932 to yield 4.008% with a spread of 103 basis points over Treasuries.

The notes have a make-whole call at Treasuries plus 20 bps until March 1, 2028, and then are callable at par.

BNP Paribas Securities Corp., SMBC Nikko Securities America Inc. and Stephens Inc. are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Entergy Arkansas is a Little Rock, Ark.-based energy provider.
