King Street Acquisition acquires $59.2 million in Enron claims from Bear Stearns

Washington, July 9 - King Street Acquisition Co. LLC, an affiliate of King Street Capital Management LLC, acquired $59.2 million in claims against Enron Corp. from Bear Stearns Investment Products Inc., according to filings Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

King Street acquired one claim for $22.4 million and another for $36.8 million.

Enron, a Houston-based energy company, filed for Chapter 11 on Dec. 2, 2001. Its Chapter 11 case number is 01-16034.
