Contrarian Capital Trade Claims acquires $1.34 million Enron claim

Washington, April 28 - Contrarian Capital Trade Claims LP acquired a $1.34 million claim against Enron Corp. from Trafigura AG, according to a filing Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Trafigura is a Swiss company with a branch in Stamford, Conn. It trades petroleum products, crude oil and metals.

Enron, a Houston-based energy company, filed for Chapter 11 on Dec. 2, 2001. Its Chapter 11 case number is 01-16034.
