Longacre Master Fund acquires $9.6 million Enron Energy Services claim

Washington, April 14 - Longacre Master Fund Ltd. acquired a $9.61 million claim against Enron Energy Services from Texas-Ohio Energy Inc., according to an filing Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Longacre Master Fund will get 86% of the claim, and Longacre Capital Partners LP will get 14%.

According to Longacre's web site, its principals worked in Bear Stearns' high-yield bond department and specialize in buying performing and non-performing vendor accounts.

Houston-based Enron Corp. filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 2, 2001. Its Chapter 11 case number is 01-16035.
