Cargill acquires $10 million Enron claim from Goldman Sachs

Washington, Feb. 20 - Cargill Financial Services International, Inc. acquired a $10 million Enron Corp. claim from Goldman Sachs Credit Partners LP, according to a Feb. 19 filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Southern New York.

The claim was originally filed by the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. against Enron around Oct. 11, 2002. The claim number is 12686.

The Houston-based energy company filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 2, 2001. Enron's Chapter 11 case number is 01-16034.
