Stonehill acquires $15.78 million Enron claim

Washington, Feb. 3 - Stonehill Institutional Partners, LP acquired part of two claims against Enron Corp. and its subsidiary Enron North America Corp. with a value of $15.78 million, according to paperwork dated Oct. 9 filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York Tuesday.
Stonehill acquired the claims from Mexico's Vitro Corp. SA de CV. Vitro's total claim was for $16.35 million.
Enron filed for Chapter 11 in December 2, 2001.
The case number is 01-16034.
