Merrill Lynch sells $30.66 million of Enron North America claims to Longacre, Quantum

Washington, Jan. 15 - Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc. sold two Enron North America Corp. claims worth a total of $30.66 million, according to documents filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Merrill Lynch sold four claims to Longacre Master Fund, Ltd. valued at $19.44 million. Two claims were valued at $7.07 million and another two were valued at $2.65 million each.

In addition, it sold an $11.22 million claim to Soros Fund Managements LLC's Quantum Partners LDC.
