DBRS confirms Enmax

DBRS said it confirmed Enmax Corp.'s debentures at A (low) and its commercial paper at R-1 (low).

The trends are stable.

The agency said the ratings reflect Enmax's earnings and cash flow stability from its regulated transmission and distribution operations and a well-hedged non-regulated business, offset by increased business risk stemming from growth in owned generation.
