S&P: Enmax outlook stable

Standard & Poor's said it revised the outlook on Enmax Corp. to stable from negative and affirmed its BBB+ long-term corporate credit and senior unsecured debt ratings.

"The outlook revision reflects our view that Enmax would maintain its current financial risk profile despite continued weak electricity prices," S&P analyst Greg Pau said in a statement.

"We base this on our understanding that Enmax would moderate its growth plan when necessary and materially adhere to its published financial targets in the near-to-medium term," Pau added.

Ratings reflect a strong consolidated business risk profile, the agency noted.
