Enesco bankruptcy case closed after full administration
New York, March 10 – Enesco Group, Inc.’s Chapter 7 case was closed on Friday and the trustee discharged, according to a notice filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
The action follows a report on Tuesday from the Chapter 7 trustee that the company’s estate has been fully administered.
The trustee said a total of $2.16 million was distributed to claimants, while $41.68 million in assets were abandoned.
In addition, the trustee asked to be discharged.
Enesco was an Itasca, Ill., producer of fine gifts, collectibles and home decor accessories. It filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 12, 2007. Its Chapter 11 case number is 07-00565.
