Enesco case fully administered; $2.16 million distributed to claimants

Pittsburgh, March 8 – Enesco Group, Inc.’s Chapter 7 trustee said the company’s estate has been fully administered, according to a report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

The trustee said a total of $2.16 million was distributed to claimants, while $41.68 million in assets were abandoned.

In addition, the trustee has asked to be discharged from his duties with the Enesco estate.

Enesco is an Itasca, Ill., producer of fine gifts, collectibles and home decor accessories. It filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 12, 2007. Its Chapter 11 case number is 07-00565.
