New Issue: Energy World raises A$14.4 million in placements of stock

New York, Aug. 10 - Energy World Corp. Ltd. settled two private placements totaling A$14,401,696.

The company issued 90,010,600 shares at A$0.08 each to Ellerston Capital Ltd., the funds vehicle of Consolidated Press Holdings Ltd.

In a separate deal, majority shareholder Energy World International Ltd. bought 90,010,600 shares at the same price.

Proceeds will be used to develop the company's power business and to develop oil and natural gas operations in Australia, Asia and China.

Based in Seaforth, New South Wales, Australia, Energy World is a power production company and an oil and natural gas production company.
