New Issue: Goldman Sachs sells $486,000 trigger notes on Energy Select Sector fund

Madison, Wis., May 28 – Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. priced $486,000 of 0% trigger notes due May 25, 2018 linked to the Energy Select Sector SPDR fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the fund finishes at or above 80% of the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.25 times the fund return, subject to a floor of par and a maximum settlement amount of $1,375 per $1,000 principal amount.

Otherwise, the payout will be par plus the fund return with full exposure to losses.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
