Carlson Capital acquires 1.2 million shares of Energy Partners

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 3 - Investors led by Carlson Capital, LP bought 1,198,768 shares of Energy Partners, Ltd. between Oct. 2 and Nov. 30 priced from $12.34 to $15.18 each.

The reporting persons beneficially own 2,122,668 shares, or 6.7%, of the company's outstanding stock.

Energy Partners is a New Orleans-based independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company.
