S&P rates Bonneville Power bonds AA-/A-1+

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an AA-/A-1+ rating to the proposed $208.8 million series 2008-F bonds issued by Energy Northwest, Wash., for the Bonneville Power Administration, Ore.

The short-term component of the rating is based on a standby bond purchase agreement provided by Dexia Credit Local (rated A-1+ by S&P).
