Fitch drops Energy Future

Fitch Ratings said it downgraded the issuer default ratings of Energy Future Holdings Corp. and its subsidiaries, Energy Future Intermediate Holding Co. LLC, Texas Competitive Electric Holdings Co. LLC and Energy Future Competitive Holdings Co., by one notch to CCC from B-.

The ratings of Oncor Electric Delivery Co., LLC are affirmed.

The outlook for all is now stable.

According to the agency, the issuer default rating downgrade of Energy Future and its non-utility subsidiaries has no impact on the securities ratings of Energy Future Holding and Energy Future Intermediate, which are being affirmed, due to Fitch's current view of recovery prospects at Energy Future.
