Energy Conversion Devices unsecured creditors committee appointed

Charlotte, N.C., Feb. 27 - Energy Conversion Devices, Inc.'s seven-member committee of unsecured creditors has been appointed by Region 9 U.S. trustee Daniel M. McDermott, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

The committee members are Donna J. Parisi of the Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA in New Albany, Ohio; Richard Rathvon, representing Liberty Power of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; Bob Daily of the Pegasus Group, Inc. of Walnut Creek, Calif.; Ajay Goel of Ameri-Source of Bethel Park, Pa.; Jeffrey Weiss, Esq., of Danbury, Conn.; David Goodman of Advanced Green Technologies, Inc. of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and Narendra Patel of Marubeni Itochu Steel America, Inc., of Schaumburg, Ill.

Rochester Hills, Mich.-based Energy Conversion Devices makes thin-film flexible solar laminate products for buildings. The company filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 14 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. The Chapter 11 case number is 12-43166.
