Energizer Holdings to redeem all $750 million 6 3/8% notes due 2026

By Taylor Fox

New York, Sept. 16 – Energizer Holdings, Inc. plans to redeem in full its $750 million of outstanding 6 3/8% senior notes due 2026, according to a news release.

Energizer will fund the redemption, as well as all fees and expenses, using proceeds from its $800 million offering on senior notes due 2029, together with cash on hand.

The notes will be redeemed on Oct. 16 at par, plus a make-whole premium, plus interest.

The redemption price will be calculated no later than two business days prior to the redemption date.

The note redemption is conditioned upon, among other things, the consummation of the offering of the 2029 notes on terms and conditions satisfactory in all respects to Energizer in its sole discretion.

Energizer is a St. Louis-based battery manufacturer.
