DBRS downgrades Enercare

DBRS said it downgraded the issuer rating and senior notes rating of Enercare Solutions Inc. to BBB (low) from BBB.

The trend is stable.

The downgrades follow the higher financial leverage incurred upon the closing of the acquisition of ESI by Brookfield Infrastructure Partners LP and its institutional partners, DBRS said.

If Enercare's key credit metrics experience further deterioration, additional negative rating actions may occur, DBRS said.
