Endo International mediation extended through July 7

Olympia, Wash., June 22 – Endo International plc will continue mediating through July 7, according to a status report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Retired judge Shelley C. Chapman is acting as mediator, as previously reported.

As previously reported, the company has reached settlements through the mediation with the official committee of unsecured creditors and the official committee of opioid claimants and now has their support for a restructuring deal that would allow for the sale to the first-lien lenders.

Endo is a Dublin, Ireland-based specialty pharmaceutical company that filed bankruptcy on Aug. 16, 2022. The Chapter 11 case number is 22-22549.
