Endo wants to pay benefits, severance over trustee objection

Chicago, Nov. 8 – Endo International plc is seeking court approval to continue to honor its benefit obligations to its non-insider employees and to continue to make severance payments, when applicable, in spite of a trustee objection.

The company is requesting up to $40 million to be used for long-term incentive plan benefits, consistent with historical practice.

Additionally, the company wants to pay all amounts required under its severance plan, up to $17 million, through the end of 2023.

Endo is offering to consult with the various committees and entities before actually making the payments.

Endo is a Dublin, Ireland-based specialty pharmaceutical company. The Chapter 11 case number is 22-22549.
