Moody’s cuts Endeavour

Moody’s Investors Service said it downgraded Endeavour International Corp.'s probability of default rating to D-PD from C-PD/LD.

This rating action is in response to the company's announcement that Endeavour and certain of its subsidiaries have each filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, the agency said.

All of Endeavour's ratings will be withdrawn in the near future.
