Russia's Alfa Bank to start roadshow for dollar-denominated three-year bond next week

New York, June 1 - Alfa Bank plans to start a roadshow for a proposed issue of dollar-denominated three-year bonds (Ba2/B/B+) next week, according to a market source.

The roadshow runs from June 7 to June 15 with stopovers in Hong Kong, Singapore, Athens, Geneva and London.

Barclays Capital and JP Morgan are running the Regulation S offering.

Alfa Bank, based in Moscow, is a privately owned bank.

The Alfa bond due 2005 is trading at 102 1/8 bid, 102 5/8 offered, equivalent to yields of 5.91% bid, 4.81% offered.

Meanwhile the bond due 2006 is trading at 100½ bid, 101 offered, equivalent to yields of 7.37% bid, 6.74% offered.

The bond due 2007 is trading at 100 bid, 101 offered, equivalent to yields of 7.74% bid, 7.10% offered.
