DBRS confirms Enbridge

DBRS said it confirmed the senior long-term notes of Enbridge Income Fund at BBB (high) with a stable trend.

The rating confirmation reflects Enbridge's consistent operating performance and fairly stable credit profile, the agency said.

In addition, DBRS said Enbridge intends to focus on steadily growing its business and maintaining its credit metrics in line with the credit rating following a restructuring plan, which is expected to be implemented on Dec. 15 in response to the pending taxation of income trusts in 2011.
