New Issue: EMPS raises $10.29 million in private placement of stock

Atlanta, Feb. 1 - EMPS Corp. has closed a private placement of stock for $10,291,500.

The company sold a total of 3,430,500 shares at $3 each.

The offering was completed in three separate closings. On Jan. 26, the company sold 150,000 shares; on Jan. 28, it sold 1,668,300 shares; and on Jan. 31, it sold 1,612,200 shares.

EMPS, based in Salt Lake City, develops, licenses and markets technology for use in commercially separating nonmagnetic particulate material.
