S&P ups Empresas CMPC view to stable

S&P said it revised its outlook on Empresas CMPC SA to stable from negative and affirmed its corporate and issue-level ratings at BBB-.

“The rating affirmation and outlook revision reflect CMPC's improving operating performance and leverage reduction following supportive pulp prices, its commitment to a solid financial policy, and the restart of production at the Guaiba II mill,” S&P said in a news release.
