Argentina's Edenor to call all class A and class B discount notes due 2014

Pittsburgh, Dec. 7 - Empresa Distribuidora y Comercializadora Norte SA (Edenor) will call all of its outstanding class A and class B discount notes due 2014 on Dec. 13 at a price of 104.85, according to a company news release.

According to the release, there are $19.35 million of the series A notes and $2.63 million of the series B notes outstanding.

The total payment will be $23.04 million, including $382,447 of interest on the notes.

Bank of New York is the international registration and payment agent, and Banco Rio de la Plata SA is the registration and payment agent in Argentina.

Buenos Aires, Argentina-based Edenor is the largest electricity distribution company in Argentina in terms of number of customers and electricity sold.
