Argentina's Edesa suspends $65 million class I series 1 notes issuance

Pittsburgh, Feb. 17 - Empresa Distribuidora de Electricidad de Salta SA (Edesa) has suspended the subscription period for and issuance of up to $65 million of class I series 1 fixed-rate notes due 2018, according to a news release.

The company cited unfavorable conditions in the international market.

The notes were to be issued under Edesa's $200 million global notes program.

Edesa is a power company based in the Salta Province of Argentina.
