Fitch rates Edesa notes B/A+(arg)

Fitch Ratings said it assigned Empresa Distribuidora de Electricidad de Salta's foreign- and local-currency issuer default ratings of B $60 million class 1 notes B(exp)/RR4.

The outlook is stable.

The B ratings are constrained by the high regulatory risks associated with operating in the electricity sector in Argentina, according to the agency.

Ratings also consider the company's monopoly position to provide electricity distribution services, its predictable cash flow generation and a healthy financial profile, the agency noted.
