Moody's gives Aa2/VMIG1 to Emory University bonds

Moody's Investors Service said it revised to Aa2/VMIG1 the rating on Emory University's $282 million series 2005C revenue bonds issued through the Georgia Private Colleges and Universities Authority.

The rating was revised in connection with a conversion of the bonds to weekly mode from auction mode.

At the same time, Moody's said it affirmed the existing ratings on the university's outstanding debt and commercial paper program.

The long-term rating outlook is positive.
