Emisphere granted waiver, extension from lender

Charlotte, N.C., June 21 - Emisphere Technologies, Inc. was granted a waiver and an extension from lender MHR Institutional Partners II A LP after the company failed to comply with certain provisions of its loan agreement with MHR.

According to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the waiver from MHR provided an extension of the required filing date of the registration statement on form S-3.

Emisphere is a biopharmaceutical company located in Tarrytown, N.Y.
