Emerson Electric to conduct sale of fixed-rate notes in three parts

Knoxville, Tenn., April 27 – Emerson Electric Co. intends to sell fixed-rate senior notes in three tranches due 2027, 2030 and 2050, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will have make-whole calls until the par call date and then par calls. The par call date will be two months prior to maturity for the 2027 notes, three months prior to maturity for the 2030 notes and six months prior to maturity for the 2050 notes.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to repay commercial paper and for general corporate purposes.

Emerson is a St. Louis-based technology and engineering company.
