Emeritus files $150 million shelf covering stock, preferreds and debt

Knoxville, Tenn., June 10 - Emeritus Corp. filed a $150 million shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common stock, preferred stock, debt securities and warrants.

The preferreds and debt may be structured as convertibles.

The Seattle-based provider of assisted living and Alzheimer's and related dementia care services to seniors said that proceeds will go toward debt repayment, acquisitions, redemptions and general corporate purposes.
